A car hauler or carhauler is a truck used for hauling cars. Car Hualers are used for auto transport usually nationwide across the country from car dealerships to dealers. A typical car hauler or carhauler is equipped with a hydraulically operated lifts as a way to pull cars up onto their ramps. Some people haul race cars in enclosed trailers for better protection. There are also small single car trailers that can be pulled behind a car or truck that are sometimes referred to as car haulers.
